Brenda Poitra, Healing Practitioner
I am an enrolled member of the Three Affiliated tribes of Ft. Berthold, Arikara, on my mothers side and Turtle Mt. Chippewa on my fathers side. I have been learning, practicing and teaching women’s medicine healing for 25 years. My ancestors brought to me my life path purpose, spiritual teachers and teachings to help guide me. Over the years they have come to me in dreams, visions, and ceremonies with guidance and messages. They requested I live my life as an example of healing my family of origin, ancestor lineage, generations of trauma that continue to this day. To do this in a humble way, that honors my family lineage always keeping in mind the future generations. The ancestors showed me the unseen world and I know with every fiber of my being it exists. When I made a commitment to my life purpose spiritual teachers appeared on my path. I was guided to continue my healing in the mountains of New Mexico, with a women’s healing quest. It was an amazing experience that provided tremendous personal healing and understanding of my relationship with all living things. The seen and unseen worlds and the source of love. My passion and vision is that people from all walks of life have the opportunity to heal, grow and thrive in our second home on Mother Earth.
